About Golden-Road.net

Golden-Road.net is the Internet’s largest fansite dedicated to the US game show The Price is Right. Founded in 1999 as “The Golden Road”, an AOL page by college student Marc Green, who was invited backstage by TPIR staff to take and post backstage photos.

The site quickly became known among the burgeoning online game show fan community, and in 2003 the site relaunched with added forums as “Golden-Road.net” The site quickly gained hundreds of active users, with daily recaps & discussion of every episode, fan games, and exclusive behind-the-scenes photos.

TPIR has evolved through the years, and the site’s userbase with it. Nearly 20 years of TPIR fan history has been preserved on this forum structure. By 2026 Golden-Road.net will have existed for more of TPIR’s run than without it.
