Backstage at TPIR

Over the course of many visits from 2000-2006, original Golden-Road.net webmasters Marc Green and John Sly were invited backstage, armed with a digital camera, to document and share with TPIR fans what the experience is like backstage at 7800 Beverly Blvd at The Price is Right.

They published their photos on an early Web 1.0 webpage known as “golden-road.net”. These online photo pages predate modern social media, YouTube, and even much of the online marketing efforts on the official CBS website. They were the first backstage glimpse thousands of online TPIR fans saw.

These photos are preserved here as they were, warts and all–showcasing two giddy TPIR superfans backstage in the early 2000s.
