Here is the first page of the prize records from TPiR 1.When we walked into the Graphics Department, we quickly found the TPiR 6,000 logo and some Wheel of Fortune mystery round wedges.What a difference 1,000 shows makes. Over 1,000 people attended this night of fun and big prizes!Unfortunately, the attendance for the Las Vegas Special was grossly underestimated. From the enormous attendee size to technical difficulties, not much seemed to go right for the production crew. In the meantime, can I have a White Russian while I get ready to play Cliffhangers?CBS2 LA ran a promo on the Noon news on 9/26/03 about The Price is Right Live in Reno, NV.Here is the replica of Contestant’s Row.Contestants are chosen from the audience with keypad controllers, so everyone has an even chance to “Come on Down.”Harrah’s Casino representative Michael Silberling noted that it was a “Win/Win” situation for Fremantle, TPiR, and Harrah’s Resorts to host this new show.The first item up for bids is presented in Reno.The pricing games used in Reno were designed to match their CBS counterparts. Cliffhangers is such an example.It’s America’s favorite — Plinko! This Plinko board was build just for TPiR Live in Reno.
